A studio visit at Uli Aigner’s studio in Berlin Wilmersdorf

This summer we met the artist Uli Aigner in her studio in Berlin-Wilmersdorf to find out more about her art and witness her craft. Out of Limoges porcelain she throws vessels suitable for food in all unique shapes. As I already own two of her ONE MILLION porcelain vessel I was impressed by her sustainable ideas of free replacement system. You can send in your broken vessel and receive a new one.

ONE MILLION

The artist Uli Aigner is committed to throw ONE MILLION vessels with her own hands in her lifetime. One million unique pieces. We love her commitment to craftsmanship and the handmade aspect. In her studio she has a map of the world and knows were all her vessels live that she threw since 2014 using an engraved numbering system. I own number 5687 and 1175 location NYC

Uli Aigner’s vessels can be located by using a digital world map. Her goal is to create a global network that will compass all continents and virtually unite all owners of the porcelain vessels. Happy to be connected.
